The Word speaks of how creation sings praises to God, basically that the beauty of what God created displays His glory. I especially love the way that the Passion Translation records Psalm 19:1 'God’s splendour is a tale that is told, written in the stars. Space itself speaks his story through the marvels of the heavens. His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky, showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship.'
When we look at creation, we immediately realise how mighty the Creator is because of every detail in His creation. And when we praise God for who He created us to be, and we allow our gifts and talents to be a display of His glory and strength - there is a shift in focus. As we worship our creator we begin to focus on everything that He is, and everything else becomes smaller in light of that. Worry, fear, anxiety, stress, shame, addiction... whatever it is, it is insignificant in comparison to the almighty God who created the Heavens and Earth, and cares about every detail of your life.
Praise increases our faith, and this piece is a reminder of that. To praise in every circumstance so that we remember God's role in our lives.
